Fort Louvois
Located at the foot of the bridge of the island of Oléron, in Bourcefranc-le-Chapus, Fort Louvois is a maritime fortification imagined by Vauban at the end of the 17th century. Accessible on foot at low tide or by boat at high tide, it promises a breathtaking panoramic view from the top of its 24-meter keep.
